Council at its Regular Meeting dated June 19, 2023 gave first three readings to Business Licence Bylaw No. 884, 2023, a bylaw to regulate business in the Village of Lumby. To view the report to council click here.
In accordance with section 59 (2) of the Community Charter the Village of Lumby is giving notice to the public to provide input on the Draft Business Licence Bylaw 884, 2023. To view the ad click here.
Residents or businesses can provide input in person, or they can write a letter, email, call or fax. The Draft Business Licence Bylaw 884, 2023 is available on the Village of Lumby website, or you can contact the writer and request an electronic version be sent to you.
Responses received before Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 12:00 PM will be included in a Report to Council on the July 17, 2017 Regular Council Meeting agenda. At that meeting, Council will also provide an opportunity for persons who consider they are affected by the bylaw to make representations to Council.
The Village of Lumby Municipal Office is located at 1775 Glencaird Street.
Hours open to the public are Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
The municipal office is closed daily from noon – 1:00 PM
