On November 20 2023, Mayor and Council adopted the Draft Capital Budget presented by the Village’s finance department. The presentation provided information about upcoming projects to seek direction before the Financial Budgeting process begins. The draft includes capital projects which can be funded in a variety of ways including grants, taxation, savings, and borrowing. Capital Projects may be subject to change.
The capital budget includes much needed new and updated infrastructure, as well as additions to our community amenities that will add value to the lives of our residents and visitors. The projects, with their funding source, included in this draft plan are:
- Park Avenue Reconstruction
- Cemetery Master Plan
- Salmon Trail Bridges
- Wetland Trail
- Pole Barn Construction
- Public Works Building
- Service Truck
- Charging Stations
- Grandview Pathway
- Flood Mitigation
- Water Treatment Operation System
- Shuswap Sanitary Sewer Extension
- Wastewater Treatment Facility
