Applications for the Volunteer Fire Department
The Lumby & District Volunteer Fire Department has now completed the application intake for 2023.
Thank you to everyone who applied. Applications received after November 2023 will be held on file until the next intake.
Applicants are required to:
- live within the Lumby Fire Protection District
- have a criminal record check
- present a driver’s abstract
- partake in extensive training
Men and women over the age of 18 are welcome to apply.
In house training 1 evening per week. The Fire Department responds to 250-300 calls per year.
