Be Prepared – Spring Freshet Flood Preparation

Water levels in the creeks that flow through the Village of Lumby municipal boundaries are rising. It is the responsibilty of each property owner to protect their own property. To assist the residents of the Village, the Village of Lumby has placed sand and sand bags out (they are not prefilled) at the following locations: Parking Lot at the Curling Rink Entrance to the Salmon Trail on Faulkner The Village of Lumby continues to monitor creek water levels daily. Financial Plan & Tax Rates Bylaws Adopted

At its Regular Meeting dated April 17, 2023 Council adopted Village of Lumby Financial Plan Bylaw No. 881, 2023. BACKGROUND At its’ Regular Meeting dated February 21, 2023 Council gave first reading to Financial Plan Bylaw No. 881, 2023. The bylaw was then published in the Lumby Valleys Times as well as placed onto the Village’s website to engage the public in participating and providing comments on the Financial Plan.
