Flood Updates

Water levels in the creeks that flow through the Village of Lumby municipal boundaries have receded. As such, the Village of Lumby EOC (Emergency Operations Centre) has been deactivated. Localized Flooding Alert Issued

For flood updates click here. June 14, 2022 The Village of Lumby has activated its Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) to Level 1 for the purposes of preparation, response, and public communications related to localized flooding. Attached is a Media Release. The EOC is monitoring flood conditions and encourages residents who may live in flood-prone areas to take measures to protect their property. Annual Report

Sections 98 and 99 of the Community Charter require that an Annual Report be prepared, made available to the public and a specified meeting be held for Council to receive questions and comments prior to June 30 of each year. The Annual Report includes the 2021 Audited Financial Statements and Permissive Property Tax Exemptions for 2021.
