A Public Hearing for Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 858, 2021 will be held via Zoom on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 858, 2021 which proposes to change the zoning of the property legally described as Lot 2, DL 308, ODYD, Plan 36732, Except Plan KAP44519 and located at 2508 Shuswap Avenue and a 0.32 hectare portion of the property legally described as Lot 1, DL 308, ODYD, Plan 36732, Except Plan KAP44519 and located at 2506 Shuswap Avenue from the Residential Single Family (R.1) zone to the Residential Two Family (R.2) zone on Schedule “A” of the Village of Lumby Zoning Bylaw No. 750, 2012. If successful in rezoning the properties, the applicant proposes to develop a 20 lot bare land strata subdivision with half of a duplex on each lot.
If you believe that your interest in property is affected by this Bylaw, you will be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the above Bylaw. Due to social distancing and Work Safe BC requirements related to COVID-19, the Village of Lumby will be receiving written and verbal submissions as follows:

– dropped off at the Village Office, 1775 Glencaird Street, Lumby BC
All written submissions should identify “Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 858 – Public Hearing Request”as the subject of the submission.

You will be required to sign in and will be called into the meeting. The Chair will advise when it is your turn to speak.
Copies of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 858 and any related reports may be inspected at the Village of Lumby office between the hours of 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Copies of the Bylaw can also be viewed on the agenda package of the June 21, 2021 Regular Council Meeting which can be found under the Municipal Office section of the Village’s website at www.lumby.ca.
