Annual Report

Sections 98 and 99 of the Community Charter require that an Annual Report be prepared, made available to the public and a specified meeting be held for Council to receive questions and comments prior to June 30 of each year. The Annual Report includes the 2021 Audited Financial Statements and Permissive Property Tax Exemptions for 2021. Police Investigate HazMat Incident

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are investigating after a large quantity of hazardous materials were left in front of a business in Lumby yesterday. Shortly before 9 a.m., on Monday, April 4th, 2022, the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP received a report that a large number of containers filled with unknown chemicals were left in front of a business in the 1800-block of Miller Street in Lumby. 2022 Financial Plan – Adopted

At the Tuesday February 22, 2022 Regular Meeting, Council gave 1st and 2nd Reading to the Village of Lumby Financial Plan Bylaw No. 864, 2022. We asked for public consultation and participation on the budget. Council considered public comments and gave 3rd reading at its Regular Meeting dated Monday March 21st, 2022. Active Transportation Network Plan

The Village of Lumby has received a grant from the province’s Active Transportation Grant Program to explore the current active transportation network in Lumby and to develop an Active Transportation Network Plan (ATNP). The ATNP will guide the future development and implementation of walking, rolling and cycling facilities for the entire community.
