High Visibility House Number Sign Program

High visibility house numbers help emergency responders and others find your home. The Lumby and District Fire Department will install your reflective sign after it has been ordered and received. The Village provides the sign free of charge; however, there is a $25 fee to support the volunteer Lumby firefighters who do the installation. The installation is completed by the volunteer firefighters to ensure consistency. . While you can choose your layout, your sign layout may need to be substituted due to location or availability. Kamloops Fire Centre Bans and Restrictions

July 7, 2023 In alignment with the Kamloops Fire Centre and numerous nearby local governments, the Village of Lumby is informing residents and visitors that campfires will be prohibited in all of the Village of Lumby including RDNO Electoral Areas beginning Friday, July 7, 2023, at 12:00 pm. The ban will remain in place until further notice. Prohibited activities include the use of: campfires; open burning (all); fireworks; sky lanterns; burn barrels or burn cages of any size or description; binary exploding targets; air curtain burners; tiki and similar kinds of torches; and, chimineas.
