Municipal Office Hours of Operation:
The Municipal office is open to the public weekdays from 9:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m. Phones are answered 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The office is closed for lunch between 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m, and closed on statutory holidays.

Incorporated in 1955, the Village of Lumby is a municipality governed under the provisions of the Local Government Act. The population is represented by a Mayor and four Councillors, all elected for a four year term. The Council serves a population of over 2,000 residents within the corporate boundaries of the Village. Lumby is the service center for a rural population of approximately 5,000 persons living in the Regional District of North Okanagan.
