There have been outbreaks of avian influenza in commercial and non-commercial poultry in BC. Overall, the current strain of avian influenza A(H5N1) circulating in birds in North America poses low risk to the public.  People who come into contact with sick birds or other animals have a higher risk of infection and should take precautions. High Visibility House Number Sign Program

High visibility house numbers help emergency responders and others find your home. The Lumby and District Fire Department will install your reflective sign after it has been ordered and received. The Village provides the sign free of charge; however, there is a $25 fee to support the volunteer Lumby firefighters who do the installation. The installation is completed by the volunteer firefighters to ensure consistency. . While you can choose your layout, your sign layout may need to be substituted due to location or availability.
