Bylaw No. 833 also proposes to combine OCP Section 4.16 Park Land and Natural Areas\, with OCP Section 4.2 Parks\, Recreation and Open Space to eliminate overlap and to group related goals and policies together.\n\nTo view the agenda click here. \nAll persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by Bylaw No. 833\, 2019 will be given an opportunity to be heard at this Public Hearing. \nThose of you who wish to speak concerning the proposed bylaw should commence your comments to Council by clearly stating your name and address. You will be given 5 minutes to make your comments. You may be permitted an additional 5 minutes if everyone else who wishes to speak has done so and you are addressing points raised by other speakers following your initial presentation. \nCouncil members may\, if they wish\, ask questions of you following your presentation. However\, the main function of Council members this evening is to listen to the views of the public concerning the change of land use in the proposed bylaws; it is not the function of Council at this public hearing to debate the merits of the proposal with individual citizens. \nEveryone will be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard at this meeting.  No one will be or should feel discouraged or prevented from making his or her views heard.
