Sections 98 and 99 of the Community Charter require that an Annual Report be prepared, made available to the public and a specified meeting be held for Council to receive questions and comments prior to June 30 of each year. The Annual Report includes the 2023 Audited Financial Statements and Permissive Property Tax Exemptions for 2023. The Draft 2023 Annual Report was be made available for public inspection and comment starting Monday June 17, 2024 at the Municipal Office and available on the Village’s website. KAMLOOPS – Effective at 12 p.m. (noon) on Friday, July 12, 2024, Category 1 campfires will be prohibited throughout the Kamloops Fire Centre to help prevent human-caused wildfires and protect public safety. This campfire prohibition will remain in effect until noon on Oct. 11, 2024, or until the orders are rescinded. A map of the affected area is available here.
