Lumby provides many cultural, fitness and recreational opportunities for diverse range of groups; we proudly offer an ice arena, curling rink, tennis / pickleball courts, outdoor swimming pool, ball and soccer fields, outdoor volleyball courts, spray park and an excellent skateboard park. The Lumby Museum

The community has an excellent museum operated by the Lumby & District Historical Society that offers a glimpse into the rich history of the area, showcasing Lumby’s early days.


Lumby & District Health Service Society

Lumby & District Health Services Society (LDHSS) is a non-profit charitable organization that provides accessible and quality health and information services to the Lumby community and surrounding areas. the LDSHH offers various health care program and services including X-rays, lab work, Options for Sexual Health, physician and nurse practitioner recruitment, foot care clinics, diabetes clinics, and regular information on a variety of health-related topics.


Okanagan Regional Library – Lumby

Village of Lumby library services are provided through the Okanagan Regional Library. The library is located at 2230 Shields Avenue, hours of operation may be obtained here.


Monashee Arts Council & Village Gallery

A community arts organization, the Monashee Arts Council, promotes and showcases local artists, classes and programs in the visual and performing arts. The Monashee Arts Council secures resources to provides opportunities that further arts access and development for citizens and artists residing in the areas surrounding Lumby.


Monashee Community Co-Op

The Monashee Community Co-Op  ‘nourishing our local economy’ is located at 1965 Shuswap Avenue in Lumby (behind Ida’s Bakery and next to Valley First Insurance). We are your source for quality affordable natural and organic foods and goods while promoting local environmentally responsible agriculture. Our Co-op is committed to educating our community about the relationship between food and health. Lumby Public Market

The Lumby Public Market is located at the Oval Park (entrance by the outdoor swimming pool) and showcases local growers, producers, crafters, foodies, artisans, performers, and home businesses from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The market starts from the 2nd week in May to the 2nd week in October. 


Lumby Lions Club

The Lumby Lions is a club composed of community volunteers in service to Lumby and the surrounding area for over 65 years.


Lumby Days

Monashee Trails Society

Formed in 2021, The Monashee Trail Society’s purpose is to create and maintain a system of well designed, accessible, non-motorized trails throughout the region to foster appreciation, education, protection and enthusiasm for the natural world around us in collaboration with indigenous, local and government organizations. The Board meets monthly at the White Valley Community Hall and promotes upcoming events on their Facebook page.
